This is course advice from an RTO, not a licensed career-counsellor service. We will map units to a licence or job type you already have in mind.
Security and licensing
Most Queensland unarmed / crowd controller applications start with CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations. ATI issues the training. The Office of Fair Trading issues the licence. Fingerprinting and OFT fees are not ATI course fees.
Safety tickets workplaces ask for
First aid, White Card, heights, confined spaces and fire warden units are the usual add-ons. A safety trainer can tell you which combination your site actually lists.
Funding and RPL
Ask whether Career Start or another Queensland program applies, or whether your work history suits RPL. Eligibility is assessed.
